College Football Top 25 Week 7 Picks

#1 Alabama vs. Missouri

                The Missouri offensive line was not very good before they all got hurt, now it’s a duck tape job of an offensive line. On top of all the talent Alabama has it also has a great coach, Mizzou has a horrible coach. This will probably be a blow out.

                This is tough, I really think South Carolina is the better team but LSU is at home and desperate to stay in the title hunt.

                This is totally a trap game for Florida. They just came off a big win over LSU and may accidentally look forward to the South Carolina game next week. Vandy has looked good at times this season and is definitely capable of an upset.

#5 West Virginia vs. Texas Tech

                Texas Tech likes to mess with good teams at home. They also have a decent defense. West Virginia finds itself in the same situation as Florida this week. They play a mediocre team this week with a big game coming the next weekend. West Virginia plays K-State next weekend. But I think the West Virginia offense continues to fire on all cylinders. Texas Tech did give up 41 points to OU last week.

                I feel like this is week of the trap games. Like West Virginia and Florida, K-State plays a mediocre team this week with a big game next week. This I think has the most potential for an upset.

                I’m just so overjoyed that ESPN now actually has an excuse to talk about Notre Dame, I’m sure you sense my sarcasm in that. I just love how over the past years while Notre Dame was horrible they still got as much coverage as national title teams. At least now they are worth talking about. This is also a tough pick. Stanford has the better win over USC but also a letdown loss to Washington. Notre Dame has beaten Michigan St. and Michigan, but I think both of those teams were overrated coming into this season.

                The Jets will miss Revis who may miss the rest of the season.

                St. Louis has looked good at times and its tempting to call the upset here but I still think Seattle pulls it out with their good D.

                Unless Cam Newton picks up his play this game may be an Atlanta offensive show. If Cam plays well this game will be interesting, but I don’t see him doing too well against Atlanta’s great D that leads in turnovers among defenses.

                This could be interesting with Stafford hurting. I think this game comes down to QB play. Can Ponder keep playing well and will Stafford be able to play through his injury.

                While I have been a chiefs fan my entire life I don’t think we have a chance. While we won last week I’m not sure how much was us playing well or the Saints playing bad…Jamaal Charles of course was a beast last week, if he plays like that again we will have a game. If the Chiefs win I will be pleasantly surprised.

                Houston has a good D and a good Offense. Tennessee has pitiful performing Chris Johnson and a rookie QB.

                The last two weeks have been frustrating for New England. The missed field goal in the last few seconds two weeks ago and last week’s controversial field goal have been tough on them. I think they blow out steam on Buffalo this week, especially if buffalo is missing C.J. Spiller to injury.

                Cincinnati has looked better, Jacksonville could pull it off with a good day from Gabbert and MJD.

                This one is tough. Oakland wins if McFadden has a good day but reports are that he is hurting somewhat.
