My Heisman Pick

Its totally Manziel. Jonny football has been awsome this year. His numbers are great and he peaked just at the right time to get everyones attention for the Heisman. I think Te'o is also highly deserving of this award. I really think there should be an offensive Heisman and a defensive Heisman. Its really hard to win this award as a defensive player. Collin Klein was also very good this year but Manziel's numbers totally kill Kleins. Manziel has a total of 3,419 yards passing to Klein's 2,490. Manziel threw 24 TD's and 8 INT's, Klein threw 15 TD's and 7 INT's. As for rushing Manziel has 1,181 yards and 19 TD's, Klein has 890 yards and 22 TD's. Manziel has this Heisman wrapped up in my opinion.

                Oregon has been a reliable team for years. They usually do what they are supposed to do. There is a whisper of an upset but I just don't think Arizona State has it in them. Oregon has this one in the bag, probably the usual Oregon blowout. At least a two or three touchdown win.

Seattle @ San Francisco

                Well the Seahawks have the better defense, some will disagree but let’s look at the stats. Seattle has 17 sacks on the year, the 49ers have only 9. Seattle has allowed 85 points, 49ers have allowed 94. Seattle has 5 interceptions and the 49ers have 4. San Francisco was sacked 6 times last week against a mediocre Giants D. I think Seattle gets to Alex Smith a lot tonight. The 49ers offense is better than Seattle. I could say that San Francisco will be tired because of the short week, but it could also be said they will play mad because of losing so bad too the Giants last week. I think I’ve got the upset in this game.

                The Missouri offensive line was not very good before they all got hurt, now it’s a duck tape job of an offensive line. On top of all the talent Alabama has it also has a great coach, Mizzou has a horrible coach. This will probably be a blow out.

                This is tough, I really think South Carolina is the better team but LSU is at home and desperate to stay in the title hunt.

                This is totally a trap game for Florida. They just came off a big win over LSU and may accidentally look forward to the South Carolina game next week. Vandy has looked good at times this season and is definitely capable of an upset.

                Texas Tech likes to mess with good teams at home. They also have a decent defense. West Virginia finds itself in the same situation as Florida this week. They play a mediocre team this week with a big game coming the next weekend. West Virginia plays K-State next weekend. But I think the West Virginia offense continues to fire on all cylinders. Texas Tech did give up 41 points to OU last week.

                I feel like this is week of the trap games. Like West Virginia and Florida, K-State plays a mediocre team this week with a big game next week. This I think has the most potential for an upset.

Stanford has the better win over USC but also a letdown loss to Washington. Notre Dame has beaten Michigan St. and Michigan, but I think both of those teams were overrated coming into this season.
